We stopped in (not making this up) Lina, LA...although, i'm not sure you'll find it on the map...


it doubles as the local game check, which was painfully evident (yeah, that's the ice cream cooler under there :)


Craisins: the food of crazy people


Today we were introduced to a new species of Louisiana Wildlife...the Love-bug. They only come out when they are mating (2 times a year), so there are always two of them stuck together, and they are apparently not looking where they are going :)


It was raining Love-bugs, and we're not talkin' about the kind Volkswagon makes...


Someone told us to get them off, or else they stain...


They really LOVED our van.


Most of the country we've traveled through has looked pretty much like Virginia...
until today...we do not have forests coming out of our water in Virginia...this is one of the many bayous/swamps/rivers we crossed today...
